Michael has been a pastor at Harbor since 2013, and the head pastor since 2016. Originally from Cleveland, OH, Michael grew up in Asheville, NC. He went to Wake Forest University, where he graduated with an English degree (2005). That’s also where he met his wife Lindsay who also went to Wake Forest. Michael received his M.Div from Covenant Theological Seminary (2009).

Michael has an affinity for bow ties, strong coffee, stringed instruments, and nerdy humor!
